But 1991 rumours were fueling high about her sexuality so she wanted to put a stop to it and get married off really quickly .

This is a good good interview. I applaud Bivens for shedding light on the misconception that Bobby Brown was this horrific man who did so much damage . They both had issues within the marriage, yet it didn't work out. Whitney and Bobbi are at peace. Bobby is having a content life now. I wish them well. Thank you Mike Bivens.

YEEEES SHE CHOSE HIM! I knew all along as well Whitney wasn't all squeaky clean. However they LOVED each other unconditionally. They just could not continue together because if both of their issues. People talk about falling out of love with people but these two ALWAYS had mad love. I wish they could have handled their addiction issues si they could have been a great combination. Anyone who has ever met Whitney knows she was nothing like the image her PR team created. Her own brother admitted that he introduced her to drugs. Bobby was 22 when they met and set for super stardom. She was older and wiser and he was easily controlled. Simple as that. Blaming Bobby for Whitney's downfall is easier for most people than admitting the facts about their idol. The cognative dissonance is real with Whitney Houston fans.

Even though the truth is out there and people can literally do the research on their own I don't think baby will ever stop being blamed for Whitney. America fell in love with image of Whitney and cannot think anything less than what they think Bobby did to her.

I see what Mike is saying. they were whitney's choices. I do think her family was toxic. It is hard to say no to family but sometimes, we have to step away. Her brothers were on the road with her and Robyn shed some light as to how her parents behaved. It takes its toll and once you start it, it is very difficult to change. Her brother, Michael, said in the Whitney documentary that they smoked circles around Bobby when it came down to drugs.. Whitney would have had to stop both brothers from being on tour with her. She could have given all of them a set amount of money and kept business and family separate. Bobby was younger than she was and very possibly too immature to really help her. I cannot blame him from being young. Two lost people who probably didn't see the full danger until it was too late. Really enjoyed Whitney's voice and wished it could have ended a different way.

I love Mike Bivins. I feel like we've grown up together, although I'm from NJ and he's from Mass! In fact, I've always called him "my twin" because we're LITERALLY the same age (8/8 and 8/9 of the same YEAR). 👍😄 We have similar styles (the hats😉🤭 and the clothes from the 80s and 90s....of course I dressed in a "girlie style") and we're both upfront and down to earth 🌍. He's still fly and is aging gracefully. Big ups, Mike. Great interview! 👍

BS if that was my wife sister aunt mom cousin I'd be shaking every tree I could find for the TRUTH straight up!
